Women participating in
Amader Gram have many skills and talents.
In their day-to-day work and
participation in Amader Gram Knowledge Centers, the women also act as role
models to younger girls, showing that women’s skills have value, both

and socially, and are deserving of respect. At the same time, it sends this
message to men and boys in the community. Amader Gram has played an
important role in building women’s resources, knowledge, and skills that
